Personal Hygiene Concept, Knowledge, and Awareness Regarding COVID-19 among Bangladeshi People

Aim: Novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has emerged as an unknown fallacy that forced into a global pandemic. Only few vaccines are available for limited number of people, and most the population not vaccinated yet. So, social distancing, proper personal hygiene, sanitization concepts main factors to prevent spread this disease. For densely populated country like Bangladesh, distancing unpopular, people reluctant follow community health guidelines. This study aimed understand hygiene concept, knowledge, awareness Bangladeshi against COVID-19. Subject Methods: cross-sectional was conducted from March June 2020 through online Google survey. Those who answered all questions were finally included result calculation (n = 182). The chi-square test applied evaluate correlations among groups based on education, income level, occupation. Results: results showed education level occupational status play vital role in about general symptoms Students have lower rate washing hands 20 sec than other occupations (p 0.037). using masks while going outside is common low-income group 0.010).
